Chhath Pooja is a festival celebrated in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Bengal and Delhi. This festival is celebrated in a grand manner in these northern states.

The Chhath Puja starts with Nahay Khay, accompanied by Lohanda and Kharna, Sandhya Argh and Suryodaya. On Chhath Puja, women perform the rituals by standing in water body and offering water to the Sun and Chhathi Maiyya who is believed to be Sun's sister. This year it will be celebrated from 2nd November evening till the morning of 3rd November.
