India is currently dealing with a devastating second Covid-19 wave that has swept through the nation, crushing the country's health infrastructure and overburdening frontline medical workers. Many patients have recovered from the disease while some have succumbed to the virus due to lack of proper health care facility. In Odisha, a one-month-old girl infected with the corona virus is said to have recovered from the disease. The newborn girl is undergoing treatment for corona at a hospital in Bhubaneswar. In 10 days, the one year old girl has defeated Corona. The little girl has been on a ventilator for the last 10 days. According to reports, the 1 month old has become the youngest to recover from covid in the country.

The girl identified as Gudia was infected with the corona two weeks ago. The girl was then brought from Kalahandi to Bhubaneswar Hospital for treatment. She was placed on an ICU ventilator at a private hospital. She was on ventilator for 10 days. Dr Arijit Mohapatra said the girl was treated with Remdesivir steroids and various other treatments. She was treated for 2 weeks.Now the girl is completely fine. She will be discharged from the hospital soon. The doctor said it was nothing short of a miracle.
