Delhi continues to enjoy pleasant weather following recent drizzle, though temperatures are expected to rise in the coming days. The Meteorological Department has forecast strong winds (25-35 km/h) for March 17-18, with maximum temperatures likely to range between 30-33 degree C and minimums between 15-18 degree C. Partly cloudy skies are expected on March 19-20.

In Uttar Pradesh, fluctuating weather patterns bring nighttime warmth, though rural areas remain slightly cooler. Clear skies are expected on March 17-18, followed by strong winds (20-30 km/h) in both western and eastern parts of the state on March 19. March 20 is expected to remain completely dry.

Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba district has returned to normal after recent rain and snowfall. The improved weather has led to a surge in tourist arrivals in popular destinations such as Khajjiar, Dalhousie, Bharmour, and Pangi, all of which are now more accessible thanks to road restoration efforts.

Madhya Pradesh may experience rainfall amidst intense heat, with thunderstorms forecast for several districts on March 17, potentially bringing some relief. Meanwhile, Jharkhand is facing a heatwave, triggering a ‘yellow alert’ as temperatures exceed 40 degree C in seven districts. However, rain and thundershowers from March 19 may help lower temperatures.

In Bihar, light rain and strong winds are expected in areas like Patna, Gaya, Buxar, Hajipur, and Samastipur. Uttarakhand remains dry, with hot conditions in the plains and cool, partly cloudy weather in the hills, influenced by cold winds. While temperatures are expected to rise, light drizzle in mountainous regions may offer some respite.
