Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba district has returned to normal after recent rain and snowfall. The improved weather has led to a surge in tourist arrivals in popular destinations such as Khajjiar, Dalhousie, Bharmour, and Pangi, all of which are now more accessible thanks to road restoration efforts.
Madhya Pradesh may experience rainfall amidst intense heat, with thunderstorms forecast for several districts on March 17, potentially bringing some relief. Meanwhile, Jharkhand is facing a heatwave, triggering a ‘yellow alert’ as temperatures exceed 40 degree C in seven districts. However, rain and thundershowers from March 19 may help lower temperatures.

In Bihar, light rain and strong winds are expected in areas like Patna, Gaya, Buxar, Hajipur, and Samastipur. Uttarakhand remains dry, with hot conditions in the plains and cool, partly cloudy weather in the hills, influenced by cold winds. While temperatures are expected to rise, light drizzle in mountainous regions may offer some respite.
