With eight new COVID-19 cases, toll rises to 25 in R'than

Rajasthan on Saturday saw a big spike in COVID-19 infections with eight news cases including 6 from Bhilwara, 1 from Sikar and 1 positive from Pali taking the total number of infections to 25, confirmed Additional chief secretary Rohit Kumar Singh.

Jaipur, March 21 Rajasthan on Saturday saw a big spike in COVID-19 infections with eight news cases including 6 from Bhilwara, 1 from Sikar and 1 positive from Pali taking the total number of infections to 25, confirmed Additional chief secretary Rohit Kumar Singh.

In Jaipur, total samples collected till date were 694. Out of these, 25 tested positive till date, while 634 testes and 35 are underprocess, Singh said.

In Jodhpur, total samples tested till date were 44, where 43 were found negative, while one is under process.

In Jodhpur AIIMS, total samples till date were 8, out of which 5 are negative while three are under process. 19 samples have been collected from Jhalawar out of which all 19 are negative.

In Udaipur, total samples collected are 27, out of which 26 are negative, while one is under process.

In Bikaner, total samples collected are 14 and all are negative.

In state, total samples collected till date are 806 out of which 25 are positive (3 cured), 741 are negative and under process are 40, said Singh.
