Navi Mumbai: In a major development for one of India’s most ambitious infrastructure projects, a high-level review meeting was held earlier this week to assess the operational readiness of the Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA), which is scheduled to be inaugurated in June 2025.
Chaired by Vijay Singhal, Vice Chairman & Managing Director of CIDCO, the meeting focused on finalizing the construction of the airside, landside, and terminal building to ensure the airport is fully prepared for its grand opening and commencement of commercial operations.
Singhal directed all officials to strictly adhere to the inauguration deadline. According to CIDCO officials, detailed discussions were held to address and mitigate potential delays, with the concessionaire assuring that all timelines are on track for timely completion.
