A young couple in their early 20s was captured on video having sex inside a Navi Mumbai Municipal Transport (NMMT) air-conditioned (AC) bus on Sunday night. The act was caught on camera in a 22-second footage that was purportedly taken by a commuter from an adjacent vehicle as the pair was sitting in the rear row next to a window. The video went viral online and reached senior officials of the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC). They took rapid action, reported TOI.

Departmental actions have been taken against the bus conductor for not stepping in to stop the occurrence, said a senior NMMT official. The official stated that the conductor sat in the front and was allegedly not aware of the incident taking place behind him. "The conductor has been warned and asked to submit a written explanation on how such vulgar activity took place on his watch," the official added, reported TOI.
