Navi Mumbai Traffic Update: Road Construction Work Near Vashi Toll Plaza Disrupts Vehicular Movement

The motorists coming from Panvel to Mumbai are stuck in a huge traffic jam at the toll plaza in Vashi. The traffic official from Vashi division said that due to currently ongoing road construction in Mumbai jurisdiction ahead of Vashi toll plaza, there is a traffic bottleneck on the road heading towards Mumbai near this location. Traffic officials are trying to find a solution.

Road construction and development is happening across Mumbai. Mumbaikars are facing traffic issues in Andheri west as the roads are dug-up there. The traffic scenario worsened after work on the Bandra-Versova Sea Link (BVSL) commenced on Juhu-Versova Link Road.

An official from the Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) said that geotechnical work for the construction of the connector that starts from the Juhu-Versova Link Road goes up to the Versova-end of the sea link has commenced now. Barricades are also placed on this path.

He said that they are trying to manage the work and will ensure that minimum inconvenience is caused to the motorists using Juhu-Versova Link Road.
