Navi Mumbai: The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has announced a 10-hour water supply shutdown across the city, including Kamothe and Kharghar nodes under CIDCO, on March 6, 2025, due to scheduled maintenance at the Bhokarpada Water Treatment Plant and the feeder main pipeline from Morbe Dam to Digha.

According to the Additional City Engineer (Civil), NMMC, the maintenance work will take place from 10 AM to 8 PM on March 6, requiring a temporary suspension of water supply.

Areas under NMMC's jurisdiction that will be affected include Belapur, Nerul, Turbhe, Vashi, Koparkhairane, Ghansoli, and Airoli. Similarly, Kamothe and Kharghar (CIDCO-administered nodes) will also experience a water cut during this period.

The NMMC has assured residents that the maintenance is essential to ensure the long-term efficiency and reliability of the city’s water supply system. The civic body has apologized for the inconvenience and urged residents to store sufficient water in advance.

Water supply will be gradually restored at low pressure on March 7, 2025.
