A live demonstration of the “Daksh” app by Nanasahab Jadhav showcased how NMMC can digitally monitor the quality of roads, parks, water supply, and other services. The Commissioner encouraged staff to leverage this tool to improve performance.
Beyond technology, the workshop also addressed health and wellness. Nutritionist Shilpi Malhotra shared guidance on diet, exercise, and preventive care, while hypnotherapist Navnath Gaikwad led an engaging session on stress management and capacity building, re-energizing participants with interactive demonstrations.
The workshop served as both a capacity-building platform and a refreshing break from routine, allowing officials to gain exposure to diverse fields while fostering a culture of innovation and self-improvement.
Commissioner Shinde expressed confidence that such sessions will enhance efficiency and public service quality. He also announced plans for more workshops under NMMC’s 100-day action plan to keep the administration future-ready.
