Special Train For Holi 2025: CR to Operate Extra Services Between Mumbai and Gorakhpur To Reduce Passenger Rush

Mumbai – In order to clear the extra rush of passengers during the Holi festival, Central Railway has announced eight special trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT), Mumbai, and Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh. Bookings for these special trains will open on March 12, 2025, at all computerized reservation centers and through the IRCTC website.

Train number 05326 will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT Mumbai) at 10:20 AM on Thursdays and Mondays from March 13 to March 24, 2025, reaching Gorakhpur at 8:00 PM the following day. Similarly, train number 05325 will leave Gorakhpur at 7:00 PM on Tuesdays and Saturdays from March 11 to March 22, 2025, arriving at LTT Mumbai at 6:50 AM on the third day. Each train will operate for a total of four trips in both directions.

The trains will halt at Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nashik Road, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Rani Kamlapati-Bhopal, Bina, Virangana Lakshmibai-Jhansi, Orai, Govindpuri, Prayagraj, Ayodhya, Mankapur, and Khalilabad.

Each special train will comprise 4 AC-3 Tier coaches, 8 Sleeper Class coaches, 4 General Second Class coaches, and 2 Luggage-cum-Guard’s Brake Vans.

Reservations for Train No. 05326 will begin on March 12, 2025, through all computerized reservation centers and the IRCTC website (www.irctc.co.in). Passengers can check detailed train timings and halts at www.enquiry.indianrail.gov.in or via the NTES App. These special trains aim to provide a convenient and comfortable travel option for passengers heading home for Holi celebrations.
