Mogyorod, July 18 Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton once again led the way as he achieved the pole position at the Hungarian Grand Prix on Saturday. This is Hamilton's seventh pole at this circuit while 90th overall in his illustrious career.

Mercedes locked the front two as Hamilton's teammate Valtteri Bottas finished second behind the Brit, who also set-up a record in his final qualification lap (1:13:447).

"I have to pinch myself because it doesn't register. It's quite humbling to work with an incredible group of people who without them I couldn't be able to do this. Valterri doesn't make it easy for me so it requires a lot of concentration to get pole position," Hamilton said after acquiring the pole position as per Daily Mail.

Racing Point, meanwhile, continued their good run this season as they locked the two spots behind Mercedes. Lance Stroll finished third while teammate Sergio Perez stood fourth.

Sebastian Vettel, who is in his last year with Ferrari, took the fifth spot while teammate Charles Leclerc took the sixth position.

Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen, McLaren duo Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz, and Alpha Tauri's Pierre Gasly complete the top-10 grid.
