Maruti Suzuki to launch five SUVs in next three years, SUV's are confirmed with the code names

Maruti Suzuki, the country's largest carmaker, is all set to detonate an atomic bomb in the Indian automobile market. One after another, Maruti is preparing to launch not one but five SUVs.

It has been confirmed that Maruti Suzuki will launch 5 SUVs in the next three years. Some of these SUVs will be built in collaboration with Toyota. Autocar India has published a confirmation list of all the five SUVs with codenames in a news release.

Along with Brezza, Maruti will launch another compact SUV to strengthen its position in the Indian market. The car will be housed in the premium compact SUV segment, the Nexus. In India, the car will collide with Kia Sonnet and Hyundai Venue

Hyundai Creta and Kia Celtos are currently in the SUV segment. Maruti has yet to jump into this segment. And now the company will launch its first model of SUV. The car will have a 1.5-liter petrol engine but will be powered by diesel like the Creta and Celtos.

Another unparalleled segment of Maruti is the large SUV. Maruti has two MPVs with three-row seats. Ertiga and XL6. But the company doesn't have large SUVs like Hyundai, Tata, Mahindra, Toyota. But the wait is over now Maruti will soon launch its large SUV.
