1 / 10Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan has been arrested in a raid by the NCB on a cruise drug party in Mumbai. He was sentenced to one day in police custody. Today, the NCB again appeared in court with some more evidence against Aryan Khan.2 / 10The court, after hearing the arguments of both the parties, has decided to extend the police custody of the three accused, including Aryan, by three days. Aryan Khan, Munmun Dhamecha and Arbaaz Merchant have been remanded in police custody till October 7.3 / 10During the various arguments, the ASG, Anil C Singh, tried to draw similarities between the Aryan Khan case and the Rhea Chakraborty case from last year. To this, advocate Maneshinde pointed out dissimilarities between the two cases.4 / 10Anil Singh, appearing for the NCB, also raised the issue of the need to increase the custody of the accused to find out the root cause of the case. The case is very complex and serious and cannot be investigated in one day, he said.5 / 10. The ASG then argued to the court that he could show Aryan’s involvement from other circumstances, too, to which Maneshinde shot back with more rebuttals6 / 10During this back and forth, the ASG commented, “Here it is (the contraband) recovered from the ship”. To which, Maneshinde replied, “The ship is not mine. You should have arrested the thousand others on the ship'.7 / 10That wasn’t the end of the arguments though. A little later, Maneshinde said, “There is nothing to establish my connection with people on the ship.” To that, the ASG retorted, “Why was he (Aryan) on the ship?” Before Maneshinde could reply, Taraq Sayed retorted, “1300 people were on the ship. It is not even their case that No. 1 (Aryan Khan) was distributing.8 / 10Anil Singh began scrapping Maneshinde's Supreme Court verdict and handed over a copy of Aryan Khan's mobile chats to the judge.9 / 10Asked by the judge what he wanted to prove from the chats, Singh said the NCB was trying to go to the root of the drug case and find the racket. 10 / 10 He can buy the ship but…” That was followed by Maneshinde cutting into the conversation. The war of words between the counsels was animated and lots of heated arguments took place. Eventually, the court decided that the accused should be kept in custody till October 7 so that the NCB could conduct a fair and effective investigation to prove the involvement or innocence of all the accused.
