Filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s movie Ponniyin Selvan 2 has made a massive opening at the box office, grossing over ₹150 crore in just three days worldwide.
In the US, the movie has collected $3.6 million (approximately ₹29 crore) in its first weekend, as per trade sources.
The second part in the Ponniyin Selvan franchise is centred on the return of Arunmozhi Varman and Nandini taking revenge on the Cholas.
