Rashmika played the character of Lilly in the romantic drama Dear Comrade. Post the film’s success, Rashmika revealed how much effort she had put into the character, saying, “Thankyou for everyone who’s loved and are loving Dear Comrade.. SO very grateful...From the day it all started with the narration, to the cricket trainings at odd hours- for months and months to all the bruises and pains, to all the shoot day filled with laughter satisfaction tears sweat and blood to the wrapping of the film and feeling a sense of void and sadness to the promotions and the music festivals and making you all dance and sing I’ve done many films after but still being mostly referred to as Lilly..Each moment is and was too special for me... THANKYOU!"
Rashnika played the Maratha queen Maharani Yesubai in Chhaava. She expressed surprise and gratitude about getting the role: "I didn’t know what the story was. I didn’t know why they came to me. I didn’t know how they even saw me as the Maharani. I didn’t even know what was happening... when I actually heard the narration, I was confused, shocked but also so grateful, overwhelmed, and so, so, so happy that I didn't know how to react because I didn’t know how we were going to achieve this."
Rashmika, as Srivalli in the Pushpa franchise, has become an iconic character. Talking about the love she received for playing Srivalli, Rashmika once said, "Portraying Srivalli the way you’ve loved her has been so special to me. She has become my second identity; someone I am incredibly proud of. Srivalli has shaped my journey, bringing me to where I am today"
Rashmika played Geetanjali in the massive hit Animal. She revealed how she resonated with Geetanjali, saying, “When the script came to me, I felt this deep connection with her. Geetanjali is such a layered character. It’s these out-of-the-box roles that make the journey so exciting.”
Rashmika recalled how much her character Geetha from Geetha Govindam is still loved, saying, “Till date I’ve been called as ‘Geetha madam’ hehe.. it’s feel so amazing and I am extremely grateful.
