6. INO-4800 Vaccine - Inovio, a pharma company based in Pennsylvania, USA, is developing a type of vaccine that will inject DNA from a plasmid into a patient's cell. This allows the patient's body to fight the coronavirus.
Innovio is trying to cure this disease by altering a genetic structure. Because if the body is genetically capable of coping with this disease, such a threat will never arise in the future.
