Ukraine's President Zhelensky, on the other hand, has made an "emotional" appeal to the United States to send more fighter jets and reduce oil imports from Russia so that his country could face Russia's military action.

Zelensky told U.S. lawmakers in a private video call on Saturday that this was likely to be his last call. "Either implement a no-fly zone through the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) or help us by sending more troops," Zelensky said.
