Thailand pregnant woman accused of murdering 12 friends by poisoning them with cyanide

A pregnant woman allegedly killed her 12 friends one by one by drinking poison. This incident has created a sensation in Thailand. At present, the police have arrested a woman named Sararat Rangsiwuthaporn, 32 years old.

The accused woman has killed a total of 12 people including her lover. Sararat has committed this massacre using cyanide poison. The youths involved in the deaths are aged between 33 and 44 years. The woman committed these murders between December 2020 and April 2023.

On April 14, Sararat went to Ratchaburi province with her boyfriend. He was going to attend a religious ceremony there. But her boyfriend who went with Sararat was found unconscious by the river. He was declared brought dead when he was taken to the doctor

Cyanide poison was found in his body when post mortem was done. But where did this cyanide come from? This question came to the police. When the police started investigating the matter. Then the police were shocked to see that one thread was found.

Since December 2020, it has come to the police that all Sararat's friends have died mysteriously one after the other. So they all died from cyanide? A postmortem was needed to know this. Investigation revealed that Sararat was responsible for all these deaths.

They believe that all the victims died in a similar fashion. Relatives of victims had also reported missing jewelry and cash, police said.

The Bangkok police were suspicious but not convinced. Sararat denied all the allegations that she was pregnant. Her lawyers said it was not psychologically appropriate to torture Sararat in this state, claiming that the baby in her womb could be harmed.

This incident of serial killing has been going on since December 2020. Police are still investigating the incident. Among the dead were 2 women police officers. It came to light that the accused woman had taken a loan of 5 lakh 97 thousand from a friend.

Police suspect that Sararat may have killed her friends for money. Jewelery and money are also missing from the deceased's house. Therefore, the police is conducting a thorough investigation into the matter and has asked the relatives of the deceased to file a complaint.

In this case, the police have arrested the accused woman Sararat as a suspect. Police believe that after questioning her, the mysterious deaths can be revealed.
