The report mentions that Switzerland is ranked second. So living in USA is very cheap compared to England, UK, Japan and Russia. Bermuda is an island located in the North Atlantic Ocean.
It is an overseas territory of Britain and its beauty and marine environment attract tourists to the sightseeing spots. Hence there is no agriculture here and essential commodities are imported from other countries. Most of the material is imported from America.
People living in Bermuda have to pay several times the price compared to other countries. Besides, living, food, insurance and other expenses in this country are more as compared to other countries. As sales tax is levied on these goods, it is very expensive for tourists to stay and shop here.
In addition, restaurants, hotels and bars in Bermuda are also very expensive. The average fare for a night's stay in a hotel here is around 25 thousand rupees. Another thing is that people living in Bermuda get higher salaries compared to other countries.
