A video has gone viral on social media in which some boys are seen swimming together in chest-deep water near Uran railway station in Raigad district of Maharashtra. After the video went viral, questions started to arise regarding the readiness of this station.

Uran railway station is the terminus of the newly constructed Belapur-Seawood-Uran railway line through which suburban rail services will reach Raigad district. In a viral 17-second video on social media, it is seen that the station's subway is submerged in water and some boys are up to their chest in water.

Chief Public Relations Officer of Central Railway Dr. Shivraj Manaspure has confirmed that the video is about Uran Railway Station. He said, “The construction work of the railway station has not been completed yet.

Reacting to the video shared on Twitter, Central Railway said why the building is being constructed and not opened for public use.
