Coronavirus spread in rainy season, know what scientist say

When the coronavirus began to spread in India, it was cold. Many predicted that the spread of the virus would decrease in the summer or be completely eradicated. Some scientists have suggested that the appearance of COVID-19 may change as the temperature rises.

A scientist in the Department of Epidemiology at the University of Delaware, Dr. Jennifer Horne expressed concern over the rain while talking to wboc. Water does not kill the virus. The coronavirus is thought to be just like any other virus claims a report in Times of India.

In Dainik Bhaskar, AIIMS Professor of Community Medicine Dr. Sanjay Rai said that no special study has been done on coronavirus and rainfall at present. However, we can say that the activity of the virus will not decrease during the rainy season but the intensity will increase.

According to experts at the University of Maryland Children's Hospital, water does not kill the virus. Conversely humidity and low temperatures increase the risk of the virus surviving and growing.

Now many countries are removing the lockdown. In the meantime, exposure to rainwater will increase the risk.

Currently, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the WHO do not provide information on water and corona viruses. It is also important to look at seasonal infections, say scientists.
