Gold and Silver Rate Today, 23 October 2024: Prices Hit All-Time Highs Ahead of Dhanteras and Diwali Celebrations

Gold and silver prices are skyrocketing as we approach Diwali. Gold has reached a new all-time high, with the price of 10 grams now at ₹81,000 including GST. Silver, on the other hand, has reached ₹1,02,125 per kilogram. This year alone, gold prices have risen by ₹15,351, while silver has surged by ₹25,756.

Today, the price of 24-carat gold in the bullion market has increased by ₹452 per 10 grams, bringing the new price to ₹78,703 (excluding GST). Meanwhile, silver has risen by ₹779 per kilogram, with the price now at ₹99,151 per kilogram.

These rates are provided by the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), and do not include GST or jewelry-making charges. Depending on the city, including places like Yamule, the price of gold and silver may vary by ₹1,000 to ₹2,000.

Since the beginning of 2024, the price of gold has increased by ₹15,351 per 10 grams. According to IBJA, the price of 10 grams of gold (excluding GST) on January 1, 2024, was ₹63,352. During the same period, silver has surged from ₹73,395 to ₹99,151 per kilogram, marking an increase of ₹25,756.

14 to 23-carat gold prices - The price of 23-carat gold rose by Rs 450 to Rs 78,388 today. Meanwhile, 22-karat gold rose by Rs 414 to Rs 72,092 per 10 grams.

The price of 24-carat gold, including GST, is now ₹81,064 per 10 grams, which includes ₹2,361 as GST. For 23-carat gold, the price has reached ₹80,739 per 10 grams, including ₹2,351 in GST.

For 22-carat gold, the price has risen to ₹74,254, inclusive of ₹2,162 in GST. The price of one kilogram of silver, including GST, now stands at ₹1,02,125.
