Ration card is the document that is provided to Indian's who are Above Poverty Line (APL) or Below Poverty Line (BPL) the card provides a facility to access grains and groceries at a low price. But the procedure of getting this card is so complex and time-consuming.

To apply for the Ration card first visit the Department of Food and Civil Supplies website, they click on the 'Apply for Ration Card' option.

The website will ask for documents, like identity card, residential address, income guarantee, certificate if caste category is selected, and other documents, which you have to attach in the form.

Then you will have to pay some amount, after which the officials will look after your details, and then they will verify it. Following the full procedure of documents submission and verification, you will get your card at home only.
