Uttar Pradesh ahead of other states in defeating coronavirus recovery rate

It is a matter of relief for Uttar Pradesh that the active cases of corona infected patients are continuously decreasing here. UP is in a much better position than other states suffering from corona infection.

According to the news, the number of patients recovering in UP is increasing as compared to the rapidly active cases. On June 21 alone, 596 patients were found to be infected with corona and 626 patients were discharged.

At present, only 36.40 per cent active cases are in Uttar Pradesh.

As of June 21, out of a total of 17,731 infected patients, 11,601 had been discharged. Now only 6186 active cases remain.

According to Amit Mohan Prasad, Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Medicine and Health, so far more than 11 thousand patients have fully recovered.

Thus the percentage of patients recovering is 63.31

While in Uttar Pradesh, a total of 569 people infected with Covid-19 have died so far. As of Sunday, the figure was 550.
