Neeraj's social media following increased by several folds at the Tokyo Olympics. To be precise, the javelin thrower's total interactions on social media have jumped to 12.79 million, with an increase of 86.3 percent.

Even the number of accounts that follow Neeraj on Instagram have seen a nearly 2300 percent rise, going as high as 4.5 million on Instagram. From the pre-Tokyo Olympics times, Neeraj has reportedly increased his fees to around INR 2 crore from INR 20-30 lakhs when it comes to brand endorsements.
