Chennai man swallows jewels worth Rs 1.45 lakh along with biryani at friend’s Eid party

Eid is the greatest festival in India, just two days before the country has celebrated Eid in full enthusiasm. Although the best part of Eid is biryani which everyone dies to eat. Every year people make biryani at their home on Eid, as a part of the ritual a woman from Chennai also did the same.
The woman enjoyed the Eid party at her home, but later she found out almost one and a half lakh of jewelry was stolen from the house. The woman rushed to the police station as no jewelry was found in the house.
According to the New Indian Express, on May 3, on the day of Eid, a woman called her friend and her boyfriend for celebrating.
The boyfriend wanted to steal jewelry from the house. And he got a plan. He swallowed the jewelry along with the biryani. When all the guests went home, the woman came to know that her jewelry worth Rs 1.45 lakh had been stolen.
The woman became suspicious of her friend's boyfriend. She immediately reached the Virugambakkam police station. Police arrested her boyfriend.
Police scanned the abdomen of the accused. They found jewelry in it. The accused was drunk while eating biryani. That time only he thought to steal the ornaments.
The doctor gave the accused an enema. After that, a necklace worth Rs 95,000 and other jewelery worth Rs 25,000 were removed from his stomach. But the pendant of the necklace remained inside. The doctor gave him a laxative to take out the pendant.
The woman got her jewelry back within two days. The plaintiff withdrew her complaint from the police as the accused was her boyfriend.
