Google recently decided to remove the call recording app from the Play Store. If you look at it, call recording is done on mobile even before Google Android. But it is illegal.

Mobile manufacturers are offering call recording options. However, it is a crime to record someone's call. You need to know this. You need the permission of the concerned authority to record the call.

For this you have to get permission from the office of the Commissioner of Police, Superintendent. A concrete reason has to be given for this, then the police will give permission if they agree with the reason.

However, if you do call recording without this permission, it will be considered illegal. If someone is recording your call, you can file an FIR against them or go to court. Because it violates one's fundamental rights.

Everyone has the right to privacy under Article 21 of the Indian Constitution. It is considered illegal to record a call without the permission of any third party.

According to the Indian Evidence Act, 1872, every call record can be submitted to the court. It has certain conditions. The recorded sound must be clear and recognizable. There should be no interference in the recording and it should be related to the case.

Taking photos and shooting videos without the permission of any person is also considered a violation of Article 21.
