This photo has gone viral on social media. Sharing this photo on Twitter, Megan MacArthur wrote that after the harvest, we were able to taste red and green chilies. We made the best space tacos.
The peppers mentioned in it are grown in space. These peppers are like Shimla peppers.

NASA, the US space agency, has grown chili seedlings in space in four months. This pepper is grown from the genus Espanola, discovered in the New Mexico Hatch Valley.
Chilies come in both green and red colors. However, NASA says that growing chilies in space is more difficult than other crops.
Apart from chilies, Chinese cabbage, Russian kale, and lettuce have also been grown in space. Megan MacArthur has been in space since April 2021, and she says green pepper is the newest crop ever grown in space.
