The Chief Justice of India, Sharad Arvind Bobde has hit the headlines after a picture of him riding a Harley Davidson superbike went viral. The 64-year old is fond of bikes and has many times made vocal his desire about owning a high end two-wheeler in the past. According to reports, the bike was brought to the Chief Justice by a Harley Davidson dealer for a demo and Justice Bobde just sat on it. His pictures, where he is seen sitting on 'Limited Edition CVO 2020' of Harley Davidson, were shared on social media.

The picture was taken in Nagpur which is the native residence of CJI Bobde. The Chief Justice has been in Nagpur for several weeks due to the lockdown. While many social media users said CJI Bobde looked "super cool" and a "swagger", many slammed him for not wearing a mask during the coronavirus pandemic and not following social distancing ruled. In November 2019, when he was taking over as the country's top judge, Justice Bobde had in his interviews confessed to his love for bikes. He reportedly had an accident while testing a muscle bike, which kept him away from work for a few days.
