Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) President M.K.Stalin has called a meeting of the party's MPs, MLAs and district secretaries on Sunday morning.

The video conference will discuss the filing of false cases against the party members at the instigation of the Chief Minister and other Ministers and their arrest by the police.

The meeting has been called in the wake of Rajya Sabha MP and party Organising Secretary R.S. Bharathi's arrest on Saturday morning.

Bharathi was arrested from his residence here on Saturday morning on charges of making derogatory statements against judges and Dalits.

Later he was released on interim bail.
