Shimla, July 12 Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Sunday wished speedy recovery to actor Amitabh Bachchan who tested positive for COVID-19.

"I pray for your speedy recovery. Best wishes from the people of Himachal," Thakur said on Twitter, tagging Bachchan's tweet where he announced that he has contracted the disease.

The actor has been admitted to the Nanavati hospital in Mumbai. His son Abhishek has also tested positive for Covid-19.
