Pre-Poll Survey 2021: 55.84 % respondent in Kerala favour Rahul Gandhi as PM, while 31.95% preferred Modi

Polls are to be held for 294 for 294 seats in West Bengal, 234 seats in Tamil Nadu, 140 seats in Kerala, 126 seats in Assam and 30 seats in Puducherry.

Campaigns for the election have already begun. Figures from a pre-poll survey have also surfaced. According to the survey, Trinamool president and current chief minister Mamata Banerjee will remain in power in West Bengal.In Assam, the BJP government may come once again.

People in most states have expressed satisfaction over Narendra Modi's work as Prime Minister. However, in a poll conducted by Times Now and C-Voter in Kerala, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi has overtaken Prime Minister Modi. Residents of Kerala who took part in the survey were asked who would they prefer for the post of Prime Minister. According to the survey, 55.84 per cent of respondents in Kerala favoured Congress scion Rahul Gandhi as Prime Minister, while 31.95 per cent preferred Narendra Modi.

In Kerala, the Left and the Congress are alternately in power.

This year, however, the ruling Left in Kerala will form a new government, according to a survey by Times Now-C Voter.There are a total of 140 Assembly constituencies in Kerala. The Left Democratic Front (LDF) is likely to win 82 of the total 140 seats in the upcoming Assembly Elections in Kerala.The Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF) could win 56 seats.It is estimated that BJP will get only 1 seat in the state.

A pre-poll by Times Now-C voters suggests that the LDF will remain in power. LDF can get 78 to 86 seats. In Kerala, 71 MLAs are in favor of reaching a majority. The Congress-led UDF, which is currently in the Opposition, is likely to have to sit on the opposition benches. It is estimated that they will get 52 to 60 seats. The BJP may have to settle for 0 to 2 seats and others for 0 to 2 seats.
