A week after Karnataka Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi tendered resignation from his post over his alleged involvement in the sexual assault of a woman, held a press conference on Tuesday. 

The former state miniter said, "It's conspiracy against me. I knew about the CD 4 months back. I was aware of it 24 hrs before its release. It's fake CD. Plan was hatched by 2-3 people. I'm not going to reveal anything else. I won't leave them alone until they go to jail."

Further the minister said, "There should be law to protect politicians from such blackmail & conspiracies. I support the demand of 6 ministers who went to court seeking injunction, I don't blame HD Kumaraswamy & his family. HD Revanna & HD Kumaraswamy spoke to me right after the CD release."

A total of six ministers in the B S Yediyurappa government on Friday moved a Bengaluru court seeking a stay against media outlets from publishing or broadcasting anything defamatory against them.

The ministers include B Basavaraj, Dr K Sudhakar, BC Patil, Shivram Hebbar, H T Somashekar and K C Narayana Gowda moved a city court moved the Bengaluru court and demanded the media to stop broadcasting/printing/publishing any defamatory or unauthenticated content about them.

While former Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy said whosoever is claiming to have intimate video of high profile politicians in the state must be arrested, adding that "these blackmailers" are a threat to the society.
