A massive fire broke out in a minibus in Pune's Hinjewadi area on Wednesday morning, March 19, resulting in the deaths of four employees. The vehicle, which was completely gutted, was carrying 12 employees of Vyoma Graphics Company. The fire reportedly started under the driver’s seat while the vehicle was in Hinjewadi Phase One.

Bus Destroyed in Fire

The driver and front-seat passengers managed to escape immediately, but four employees trapped in the back lost their lives as the rear door failed to open. Several injured individuals have been admitted to a private hospital for treatment.

"Four people were killed after a minibus caught fire in the Hinjewadi area of Pune city today," said Senior Police Inspector Kanhaiya Thorat, Hinjewadi Police station, Pimpri Chinchwad Police.
