A shocking incident took place in Pune’s Dhayari area, where three young men brutally attacked a husband and wife with koytas over a minor dispute. The attackers, enraged after being confronted for urinating in a public place, struck the woman on the head with a koyta and attempted to kill her husband.
The incident occurred on Friday night in Hingne Khurd, Mahadevnagar, under the Sinhagad Road police jurisdiction. The 37-year-old woman filed a complaint at the Sinhagad Road police station, and an investigation is underway.
What Happened?
The complainant and her husband were sitting near the Sinhagad Road regional office after returning from work on Friday evening. At that moment, three young men arrived on a two-wheeler. One of them stood near a platform and began urinating.
The woman’s husband confronted him, leading to an argument. The attackers then grabbed him and shouted threats, saying, “We are AD Bhai’s men. Who are you to stop us? This area belongs to our Bhai. We will not stop urinating here, and we will kill you today.” They then started abusing him.
One of the assailants struck the woman’s head with a koyta, while another attacked her husband, attempting to kill him.
