Pune: A truck unexpectedly fell into a pit in the compound of the City Post Office in Budwar Peth on Tuesday afternoon. The incident occurred around 4 p.m. when a Pune Municipal Corporation truck, parked in the compound for drainage cleaning work fell upside over after a portion of the premises caved in.

The fire department has reached the spot, and efforts are underway to pull the truck out of the pothole. The City Post Office has a parking area for two-wheelers and postal trucks.

A fire department official confirmed that there have been no reports of injuries, and teams are ensuring safety. The cause of the collapse is still under investigation
