Pune Police paraded gangster Rizwan alias Tipu Sattar Pathan and his aides in Hadapsar. Pune police arrested them in a land-grab case. He was apprehended by the police along with his brother Ejaz and others in an extortion case. After a woman complained that Tipu Pathan, Saddam Salim Pathan, Ejaz Yusuf Inamdar, and Nadeem Babar Khan were unlawfully occupying her land, a case was recently filed against them at the Kalepadal Police Station.
Police took Tipu Pathan into preventive custody after he was seen throwing money and dancing with a group of men during a qawwali program held in Pune. His dance video was viral on social media. He was held under section 129 (Criminal Force) of BNS. He was sent to Yerwada Central Jail.
After arresting him in the land-grab case, the police took him on a public parade along with his aides in the area where they allegedly created a ruckus and troubled people regularly. He was taken to Sayyad Nagar in Hadapsar, where a team led by Mansing Patil, Senior Police Inspector, Kalepadal station, paraded them.
Police said that if people were forcefully asked by gangsters to pay money, or if their land was taken away from them, then they can file complaints against him without any fear, as police will take care of everything. Police said that they will always help people out in these situations. The cops said that in the future, if these criminals keep torturing people, they will take strict action against them. The official further said that people should not be scared as the names of the complainants will not be revealed. If anyone has witnessed any crime committed by these gangsters, then they could be a witness and help police in solving the case.

This arrest is a part of a bigger crackdown on local gangs that are causing issues, troubling residents, or instilling fear among them. This public parade serves as a warning to other criminals and tells them that the police are in charge and taking care of maintaining law and order in the city.
