Pune Shocker: Man Booked for Forced Sex and Black Magic On Wife To Avenge Alimony Demand
A deeply disturbing case of domestic abuse has emerged from Pune, where a 36-year-old woman has accused her estranged husband of a horrific assault, including placing a sickle around her neck and forcing lemon slices stuffed with Haldi and Kumkum into her private parts in an alleged act of black magic. The incident reportedly occurred last year in Vishalnagar, Pimple Nilakh, an upscale area of Pimpri Chinchwad, but the woman lodged a formal complaint with the Sangvi Police Station on April 11th.According to the complaint, the incident took place in 2023 at her husband’s residence. The couple, who have been married since 2004 and have two children, had been living separately due to ongoing marital disputes.
The woman stated that she had gone to her husband’s flat to collect school materials for their children, who were waiting downstairs with her mother and aunt. During this visit, she alleges that her intoxicated husband sexually assaulted and abused her, subjecting her to threats and disturbing treatment. The complaint details the horrifying ordeal: "Since the husband was drunk, the wife did not respond to him. The husband then took out a sickle from the house and placed this sickle around her neck and forced her to remove her clothes. Despite the wife's unwillingness, he had sexual intercourse with her. Afterward, the husband brought four slices of lemon from the house, applied haldi and kumkum on them, and squeezed these lemon slices into his wife's private parts. He also threatened, 'I have cast a spell on you. You are going to go crazy now. If you tell anyone about this incident, I will murder you.'" The woman then left with her mother and children, initially concealing the horrific experience.

Days later, she confided in her mother and aunt, who then helped her reach out to social activist Deepak Kamble. Kamble assisted her in approaching the Sangvi Police Station to file a formal complaint. Senior Police Inspector Mahesh Bansode of Sangvi Police Station confirmed the registration of the case. “We have registered the case based on the woman’s statement. Although the charges fall under a section punishable by less than seven years, necessary legal action has been initiated. A female officer is investigating the matter.” The investigation into this shocking act of alleged domestic abuse is currently underway.
