Delhi: RPF Woman Constable Performs CPR on Unconscious Woman at Anand Vihar Railway Station; Video Goes Viral

In a dramatic rescue at Anand Vihar Railway Station in Delhi, the Railway Protection Force (RPF) was captured on video performing Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on a woman passenger who fell on the platform and suffered unconsciousness. 

The woman fell unconscious on the platform area, garnering other commuters' attention. Promptly responding to the emergency, a lady RPF personnel, along with others, administered CPR, successfully reviving the woman within minutes. 

The incident, captured on video has gained widespread attention on social media. A viral video shows RPF personnel trying to wake an unconscious woman and tirelessly giving CPR until the woman regained consciousness. Other female cops were also seen rubbing hands and feet to make the lady more comfortable. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency procedure that helps restart breathing and restore heartbeat.

Last year, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw shared a video on X (formerly Twitter) showing a doctor performing CPR on an old person. "Our dedicated Indian Railways' team," the minister captioned the one-minute video, in which we can see the doctor giving mouth-to-mouth CPR to an old man.
