Shantanu & Nikhil couture designer Shivangi posted a video of her tour of the Google headquarters on Instagram. Her video provided a glimpse into the typical day in the life of a Google employee, and let's just say that it's anything but typical.

In the video, Shivani says, “Today, let me take you to the Google office. I reached at 9:20 am and went straight to the micro kitchen. Forgot to bring my cable, so went to the tech vending machine. Quickly grabbed my daily intake of coffee, after which I went to the games room to brainstorm upcoming projects. I then found a vacant room to check on my emails. It was then lunchtime. I had continental breakfast. And the food there deserves a separate video altogether. But lunch at Google is still not the best part because nothing can beat the nap that I took after the meal. Woke up refreshed and reverted to the pending emails. Finally, ending my day on a highly relaxing note. I cannot wait to come to the office tomorrow.”

Naturally, social media users had a lot to say about the video, which has had over 13 million views since it was posted online.

Social media users feel that Google's Gurugram headquarters is changing the definition of a workplace, as evidenced by the viral success of this film.Open in app
