Who is Payal Gaming? Viral Sensation from India vs Australia Champions Trophy 2025 Semifinal

A girl in the stands during the India vs Australia ICC Champions Trophy 2025 semi-final became an overnight sensation after appearing on the stadium screen. The camera panned to her in the 32nd over when Steve Smith was batting with the score at 165-4. She was seen casually using her phone while wearing an India jersey. 

Moments later, social media users began sharing video clips on X, formerly Twitter, asking for her identity. The video was originally posted by the account @Poojayadav206 with the caption, "Vo sab to theek hai per ye hai kon ?" (Everything else is fine, but who is she?). As the video went viral, some users recognized her as gaming enthusiast and content creator Payal Dhare.

Dhare has over four million subscribers on YouTube and is well known in the gaming community. She is from Umranala village, which falls under Chhindwara district in Madhya Pradesh. She is known for her Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) content and is associated with S8UL Esports.

Payal has also met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Last year, she joined other content creators for an interactive session with the PM.
