A shocking case of kidnapping unfolded in Pisvali, Dombivli East, where a 6-year-old boy was abducted by a rickshaw driver and his accomplices for a ransom of Rs 2 crore. Thanks to the swift action of the police, the child was rescued within three hours, and the accused were arrested.
According to E-Sakal report the victim, Kaivalya Bhoir, son of businessman Mahesh Bhoir, was kidnapped while on his way to school. Shortly after, Mahesh Bhoir received a WhatsApp call from the kidnappers, who threatened, "Your son is in our custody. If you want him back, pay Rs 2 crore."
Acting quickly, Mahesh Bhoir alerted the Manpada Police Station, leading to the formation of four special investigation teams under DCP Atul Zende, ACP Suhas Hemade, and Senior Police Inspector Vijay Kadbane. The teams were led by Police Inspectors Ram Chopde and Dattatray Gund.
Using advanced technical surveillance, the police tracked the kidnappers to Shahapur and identified rickshaw driver Viren Patil as the prime suspect. Further investigations revealed the involvement of Sanjay Madhavi and three minors.

Within just three hours, the police successfully apprehended the accused and safely rescued the child. This swift operation has been widely praised, highlighting the efficiency and dedication of the law enforcement authorities in ensuring public safety.
