Thane Water Cut News: 12-Hour Supply Distribution in Kalyan and Dombivli Today Amid Repair Works

According to the Kalyan Dombivali Municipal Corporation (KDMC), the water will be cut for 12 hours in the Kalyan and Dombivali areas from 10 AM to 10 PM on Thursday, February 27, 2025, due to repair and maintenance work at the water channels.

Water supply will be distributed in Kalyan East, parts of Kalyan West, and the entire Dombivli East and West areas. Essential maintenance work will be carried out at the Mohili Pumping Station. The essential maintenance work involves replacing faulty valves in the Dombivli division and repairing the main water pipelines in the Kalyan East and Dombivli divisions.

"To maintain smooth water supply in Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation area, to carry out essential technical works at Mohili Udanchan Kendra, to replace faulty valves in Dombivli section, to repair the main water channels of Kalyan East and Dombivli section etc. on Thursday. On 27/02/2025 from 10 am to 10 pm, the water supply from Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Corporation's twelve, Mohili and Netivali Water Purification Centers will be closed to the entire Kalyan East, some parts of Kalyan West, entire Dombivli East and West areas," KDMC in a post on X.

KDMC requested citizens to cooperate during repairing work hours and store adequate water before water cut. The repair work taken up the civic body after people complaint over water issues in several areas.
