Notably, these molecular jackhammers exhibit mechanical motion over a million times faster than their predecessors, the Feringa-type motors. As certain molecules undergo movement, their electrons generate plasmons—collective vibrating entities that propagate motion throughout the entire molecule.These plasmons, akin to molecular arms, establish connections with cancer cell membranes and, through vibrational movements, disassemble them.
