Aurangabad, March 22:To keep updated information on the availability of beds (occupied and vacant) in various government hospitals in the city areas and the rural areas, the district administration has appointed a team of health officials to provide information about beds to the callers.The district administration has appealed to contact Dr Basit Ali Khan (Mobile- 9326789007) and Piyush Rathod (Mobile- 8830061846/8855876654) for inquiries relating to bed availability in hospitals situated within the city limits, while for inquires relating to bed availability in hospitals situated in the rural areas, one should contact Dr V M Kudilkar on 9420703008.It may be noted that a facility of 6,104 beds is available in Covid Care Centres, Dedicated Covid Hospitals and Dedicated Covid Health Centres situated in the urban limits, while the 1244 beds are available in CCCs and 225 in DCHCs situated in rural parts of the district. Meanwhile, the administration is leaving no stone unturned to arrange treatment facilities, make provision of beds for patients and handle the growing rush of infected persons or suspects in the district smoothly.
