The much awaited debut of Pakistan's 16-year old seamer Naseem Shah is finally happening as the teenager is all set to take his first step at the international arena. The news about his debut was confirmed by captain Azhar Ali in a press conference. "We are definitely looking to play him," Ali told reporters in Brisbane. "He's bowling really well. We'll announce the side tomorrow but he is definitely going to be part of it.''Naseem who has just played only seven first class games will eclipse former home captain Ian Craig as the youngest test debutant on Australian soil. The teenage pace sensation lost his mother recently and the youngster chose not to return home and instead opted to play the practice match against Australia A. The youngest player ever to debut at Test level was Pakistan’s Hasan Raza in 1996 at the age of 14 years and 227 days, but his date of birth was later disputed. The most notable of the youngest players to debut for their country is Indian legend Sachin Tendulkar, who debuted at 16 years and 205 days.
