These awards signify strengthened diplomatic relationships and reflect India’s expanding influence and engagement worldwide.In April 2016, during his visit to Saudi Arabia, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was conferred Saudi Arabia's highest civilian honour, the King Abdulaziz Sash.
