Aurangabad, Jan 10:Health Minister Rajesh Tope that there are many important issues in the city than its renaming.He was speaking to journalists on Sunday after attending a meeting at Rashtravadi Bhavan. Rajesh Tope asked the activists to appoint ward president and booth committees. The minister said that there are many important city issues than its naming and his party has a no different stand on it.He said that Government committees would be formed in two weeks. “NCP is a coalition partner in Maha Vikas Aghadi. We have to contend with 25 to 30 seats, and deserving activists should get appointed on the committees,” Tope said.He said that a Core Committee comprising all three parties leaders was formed to take a decision on controversial issues. “We will accept whatever the committee takes the decision about its renaming,” he added.This was his first visit to Rashtravadi Bhavan. Many activists and leaders came there to felicitate him. But, Tope, who is also NCP contact minister for the district, refused to accept felicitation in the backdrop of Bhandra hospital fire tragedy and paid tributes to victims by observing two minutes of silence. There was a huge rush to submit a memorandum to him.Jyoti Abhag, Asha Nikalje, Vijaya Bankar, Rahul Sonawne, Guddu Nikalje and others joined the party in the minister''s presence.Earlier, NCP district president Kailas Patil made an introductory speech. Qadir Maulana, Dutta Bhange, Jaimalsingh Randhva, Amold Dandge, Mahesh Ubale, Surjitsingh Khungar, Badshah Patel, Zafar Builder, Syed Matin, Qaiser Qureshi and others present.Dwarkabhau Pathrikar, Rangnath Kale, Bhausaheb Chikatgaon, Mushtaque Ahmed, Chhaya Jangle Patil, Mehraj Patel, Veena Khare, Sudhakar Sonawne were also seated on the dais.
