Manor Independent School District is a public school district based in Manor, Texas. The current superintendent is Dr. Andre D. Spencer. In addition to much of Manor, the district also serves a wide section of Austin, and a small portion of Pflugerville. In 2009, the school district was rated "academically acceptable" by the Texas Education Agency.As of 2013 MISD covers 21.8 square miles of land within the City of Austin, making up 6.9% of the city's territory.
