Aurangabad, May 28:The City Chowkpolice arrested two motorcycles thieves after keeping a watch for 23 days inthe Shahgunj area. They confessed that they stole 40 motorcycles but the policesuspect that they stole more than 50 motorcycles until now. The police seizedfive more motorcycles from them on Friday while the total number of motorcyclesseized has reached to 27 now.The police arrestedGauskha Kalekha Pathan (Brijwadi) and Nawabkha Osmankha Pathan (Godri,Bhokarkan, Jalna).Gauskha used tosteal motorcycles from the Shahgunj, GMCH and Jama Masjid area and used to sellin various villages in Bhokardan and Sillod tehsils. The police arrested himand his one accomplice and seized 22 motorcycles On Wednesday. They wereproduced before the court as their custody was over and they were remanded inthe police custody for two more days. They confessed that they have stolen 40motorcycles but the number would be more than 50. Two more accomplices involvedin the thefts are at large and the police have launched a massive manhunt forthem, said PI Sambhaji Pawar.
